We've never been successful with swimming lessons with Lake. Usually quitting after a few due to the screaming and crying and the torture you would think we were putting him through. We started this summer with Lake willing to swim wearing a life jacket and not wanting to jump into the water, even to us. He gradually got more comfortable and began jumping but still with the life jacket. But then, a switch flipped and he really wanted to learn. We did private lessons over 4th of July week for the boys and Lake is swimming! Maddox already would jump and he can swim on the noodle but he's not strong enough to swim on his own yet.
